From the surreal landscapes of Arches National Park with it red rock sandstone gulches and Hoodoos rising like alien sentinels to the sunlit jagged peaks reflected in the Snake River's morning blue waters of Grand Tetons National Park, nature's vistas--grand or intimate--have captured my imagination, and I have attempted to capture their mystery and beauty in this small collection of photographs. Beyond the obvious subject of my landscape photography, what I value most is how light reveals texture and color. Most of these images were captured early in the morning or late in the evening when the sun was obscured behind mountains or was very low in the sky.
