Water's still reflections of a world both present and transparent or water's rapid movement slowed to a gossamer film along a stream or waterfall allows us to enter a place of imagination mysterious and wonderful. Early in the morning at the emerging of day or late in the evening as light begins to fade, tranquil water offers a looking glass impossible at other times and places. Waterfalls fill us with awe as we listen to their thunderous cry, smell the humid forest, and witness the power of one of Earth's most common elements. Landscapes with water as a primary feature have intrigued me throughout my life, and I have tried to preserve their captivating colors and movement.
