The white daisies of Grand Tetons National Park surrounded by green leaves and purple lupine create for me a more stunning arrangement than anything in a local florist's shop. From the vivid pink desert cactus blossoms of Utah's Snow Canyon at less than 500 feet above sea level to blue sky pilots at nearly 10,000 feet in Utah's High Uintas Wilderness Area, my small collection of wildflower photographs is not indicative of my neglect of the color, textures, shapes, and endless varieties of nature's uncultivated plants, but rather an indication of my distraction when photographing the grand vistas before me. It is my goal to add to this diminutive collection in the coming years.
